Where are the discharge points that I tap into? Can I power my spare 120V 4 tube fixture? It runs 4x 4 foot long florescent tubes. I have 2 of these fixtures if I need to hook up 2 of them (would be able to run up to 8 florescent tubes if I did 2 fixtures)

Do I go completely through with the 52 hour process even if the voltage just shoots right to 189 and won't go up over the 192,193 level? That's how the pack has been since I got the grid charger whether the cover is on or not.

Same place you attached the MV charger harness. No idea if you can power those bulbs since they are intended for AC current. Even if you can, I would use a 40W appliance bulb.

Yes. Whole process.

I've seen you say before that a discharge should be done with 2x 120 watt bulbs because you would probably blow just one bulb.

Why wouldn't I be blowing a single 40 watt bulb with such a huge load on it?

Yes. Two bulbs in series. 40W in your case.

So I need one 40W appliance bulb or I need two of them? I guess I need to get a socket for them to screw into so I can wire them up (whether im doing it in series because I'm using two or not, I need the answer to know). Hopefully they sell all that at home depot.

Aren't the appliance bulbs intended to run off AC current also?

I literally said two bulbs in series. HD sells plain bulb sockets cheap.

40W appliance bulbs are Incandescent bulbs. They are simply resistive filaments that don't care if the current is DC or AC. Fluorescent bulbs and their balasts/current regulation circuitry typically are designed to work with alternating current. Applying DC current may destroy the bulb and all circuitry in the fixture.

Also you literally said "a 40W bulb" in two different posts, as well. Just trying to understand, is all. I do appreciate your explanation.

nov 5th 6:54PM 198 volts, after 26 hours of grid charging
nov 5th 9:53PM got around to hooking up double bulb discharge setup, voltage is reading 187 volts
nov 5th 10:42PM discharging is in progress, voltage shows 181.6
Nov 6th 6:36AM discharging is in progress, voltage shows 169.3
Nov 6th 5:04PM discharging is in progress, voltage shows 152.3
Nov 6th 6:34PM discharging is in progress, Voltage shows 130.2
pausing dischage. I have to go to work for 10 hours and I don't want these batteries getting knocked down any under the 66 volts, if i can help it
Nov 7th 4:51AM
Resuming discharge. voltage measurement shows 160.5 at this time
Nov 7th 9:30AM
neither of the bulbs were putting out light when I went to check it. The voltage is showing 2.4 volts. WTF.
I have not turned on my MV grid charger. I am letting everything just sit like it was. Except I removed the bulbs. Will the voltage shoot back up if I do nothing at all? What's my move?

This is encouraging. At 200V, even a small % error in the voltage measurement can be misleading. Given that the VM in most units are likely $3 Chinese made units, I wouldn't put much faith in their absolute accurace but would expect consistency between charges.

Good choice at 11/6 6:34pm.
11/7 4:51AM - not at all uncommon for a partially discharged battery to bounce back above the 158V nominal.
11/7 9:30AM - not a good decision. Previously, you observed a 22V drop over the course of 1.5 hours, but you decided to wait 5 hours between checks?

Also, in this post, I did NOT specify, "after discharge, leave the pack in a deeply discharged state and risk damage." The step immediately following the discharge was another 26 hour charge:
