HCH2 Longevity Poll: Who has the highest mileage & how reliable has you Civ been?
I've got about 56,000 miles with no problems. Only issue is that during the recent cold weather the windshield wipers have acted erraticlly on ocasion. It seems to come and go. Otherwise the car has been just as bulletproof as any other Honda I have owned (finger crossed). Some friends of my parents have an HC I with 130k and no big issues to report.
For those with 50K+ miles on the car, do you freakin' live in the car?? Is it your home? LOL
Had mine for six months and no issues after 5,400 miles. I replaced the hideous rims and put an exhaust tip on. No other mods thus far.

What kind of rims did you put on?? I also hate the saucer rims but the car is so uncomfortable to me that I'm seriously going to be getting rid of it before 08 is over....the way the bump hits the lower back is excruciatingly irritating after only a short period of time and unless i can have an auto upolsterer (sp) fix it I'm out of this car asap. anyone want a great 2008 for a few grand under invoice?
69,000+ Miles.
25 Months.
9 Oil Changes.
141 Fill-Ups.
No real problems. Just a squeaky rear stabilizer bar which my dealer has lubed at about 25k intervals.

Ok I got my 06 civic on 12-29-05 and currently have 90,027 miles. All is well. Nothing but standard servicing on it.Front brakes were replaced around 78,000 miles. The tires (Bridgestone) lasted until 86,000 miles. Replaced them with the Michelin Hydroedge. The car handles better, with improved stopping power but I immediately lost 2 mpg.
I'm currently getting 41 mpg. Should be changing the spark plugs soon. I want to use the NGK Iridium plugs. Hopefully that will give me a litlle boost.

Not sure exactly what you're looking for, but if you click on the Compare tab, then click on the HCHII, it will list the participants by mileage, tanks recorded and miles recorded...

. Even on this car, that is like $8 in gas per day!
Hey Celica,
I assume you've owned a celica or still do? My neighbor is selling his and I'm considering buying it and I'd like to know how you liked yours, has it been reliable etc etc? sweet looking car even though it's a 2003!!!!
I have a friend who is currently driving a '91 Celica GT. He just rolled 270000 miles on it. It looks like it's a 17 year old car with 270000 miles on it, but it still drives well.
I bought a used 2006 HCHII and it now has 110,000 miles on it, no major problems, but I do not know if it had any minor problems with the previous owner.
I am getting 50MPG in a snowy New England winter, but this summer I was over 55.
I love my car and it is running well!
