HCH2 Longevity Poll: Who has the highest mileage & how reliable has you Civ been?
I got mine on 4-5-6 and have almost 40,000 with 51.7 mpg manually calculated. I have had ZERO problems and tanken it in for the scheduled service (per maintenance minder) 4 times now.
I love mine and this is the 2nd one, I previously had an HCH 1.

UPDATE: I have had 2 problems:
My foot wore a hole through the driver's floor mats.

and
my upper control arms (LIKE ALL 2006-2007 CIVICS) needed to be replaced

I currently have over 59k miles on my 2006 hybrid that I took delivery of on 13 Jan, 2006. No major problems with this vehicle at all.
75318 miles. no problems so far. 80% freeway miles. i've been doing my own oil changes after a questionable experience on the first oil change at dealer. (i don't think they put in 0w20 oil as my fuel economy dropped immediately afterwards, couldn't get my dynamic mpg up) i had to redo oil change after a week...and immediately car was back to normal. of course they denied it...ended up having creditcard dispute it for me.
i think i'm going to have to get some minor service done soon. the only thing i've changed out are the tires.

I'm nowwhere in the lead mileage wise, with 18,500 miles after 12 1/2 months of owning the car. I've had no issue, not even the upper control arms (no uneven wear on the tires). Only one trip for the B1 maintenance, and one earlier oil change. Lifetime manually calculated mileage is 48.92 compared to 46.7 on the dashboard readout.
No problems with mine, had to replace window motor first month but I believe it was a problem with many. Hit 50,000 this week. 2 years old.
My question is, anyone with 50,000 miles did you do a 50k check-up, was it standard or did you chose what was done and also how much?
TIA

1st I tried some great BF Goodrich tires, they handled great but my milage went from 49.5 avg to 35.7 avg. I swear I tried to drive right, but it was like driving with a parachute attached.
2nd I have bought Yokohama's and they are better, but I've still dropped to a 40-41mpg average.... It's improving a bit over the 9k miles I drove this month, but it's not as good as the Dunlops. When you replace, get teh Dunlops!!!!!!
I'm going to replace these (new) tires this fall to get my mileage back. It costs me around 80-120 miles a tank.
FWIW- I drive 8,000-10,000 miles a month. My Civic was wrecked once, but I've had no issues. My only issue (my fault) was that I broke the interior light intensity switch by hitting it with my knee. Otherwise it's been a lifesaver!
My Civic is doing 0.0 L/100km. That means the car can run only on electricity. Engine is idling.
The trick is to keep speed constantly on 43-44 km/h (about 28 miles per hour). Then "assist" wakws up and 4-5 bars are on. fuel economy meter drops to zero and computer shows 0,0 L/100km.
Battery drains quickly, you can drive this way only about 5 miles (have not had a chance to test this on longer street.
You must be werry gentle with throttle or you must turn on cruise control.
check out my video. I made this today. quality is poor, but it still shows everything

PS fuel economy "gauge" is working opposite way in Europe. If all the lights are on, it means high L/100km(poor mpg) and vice versa
