Dealership just told me that I have to wait for the IMA light to appear before he can do anything. He said he expects Honda to do something about all the bad IMAs out there. Either via Recall or extending the warrantee.

I notice my 2006 HCH2 is starting to drop to two bars and then re calibrate. Still seems to be performing well as far as FE is concerned. H

Yeah, my HCHII has really been annoying me lately. In the summer/early fall I would easily be able to get 60 mpg on the right roads and in these conditions I now am "happy" with 50. Short trips on the interstate and I'm "happy" with 45 when I used to get 53-55.

If I drive to work (only 2.1 miles) instead of riding my bike my car will (TWICE) drop to 2 bars and start a forced regen cycle for a while before it recalibrates to full charge. 2 times in two miles is ridiculous. Any size incline in the up direction (I wouldn't call them hills) drains the battery down to 2 bars where to starts a forced regen again...My full size sonata hybrid is trouncing my HCHII as far as mpg in many situations.

This actually is what drove me to get the sonata hybrid for my wife vice another HCH.
