4 months, 7000 miles and (knock on wood), not a single problem!

Great Car!

 

Ditto Gary but it's been 26.5 weeks and 25,000 miles and flawless so far for me (my average dropped from 1,000 mi/week to now about 943 mi/week -- I'm so disappointed). Actually, the only thing that broke was the DVD door on my Nav system but that was from my mistake in not closing the door before closing the screen. =)

 

I've noticed the frame around the navi screen rattles somewhat on rougher roads... has anyone else noticed this too?

 

had a hole worn in the driver side floor mat beneath the brake at 2800 miles...

 

The All-Weather mats are fantastic. Almost 20K and they look like new.

 

Shortly after I took delivery of our car(i.e. the next day) the small dash piece on the passenger side next to the small window kept popping up. The retaining clips were broken and they ordered new ones. The front driver side fender was creaking and transmitting as awful sound through the dash everytime I accelerated or would brake. Their solution was to tighten the bolts holding the fender on(which they need more of) and the noise came back within 2-3 days. When I started to take the fender off I noticed there was some mis-alignment in a couple of spots and when I corrected that the noise went away.

 

@ 8000 miles 1 oil change no major problems... went in for the service recall (some cable underneath the rear seat) and was told it would take 4 hours I passed (for now) since I carry no passengers ever. I do have the spoiler/paint chipping problem... Dealer said they would fix though by removing the trunk lid and sending it in to the paint shop... not sure I want to go that path yet though. other than that I have no complaints and my wife (her daily driver) raves about it all the time.... We LOVE it

 

1. Driver side window mulfunction
2. Brake switch failure

20k km after 1year

 

The seek button on the steering wheel skips in the XM2 mode and I'm getting the dreaded spoiler/trunk paint issue.

 

15 Months - no problem of any sort! Love my car!
