Could someone please tell me where fuel pump is located in 2008 civic hybrid and how to remove it,? Thanks

 

I know on a reg 2008 civic where the pump is and how to remove it ,

But the battery on the hybrid is under rear seat , Would I have to drop the tank to access it , or where could I find out?

IMA battery is not under the rear seat. It's behind the rear seat back between the rear seat back and the trunk.

 

Thank you for your reply , I think I have to loosen battery mounting bolts to access fuel pump cover on the hybrid.
I have not found any info on how to do that, and what to look out for.

 

They changed it between HCH1 and HCH2, and I didn't realize it. I recently replaced the fuel pump on my '03 via the cover under the rear seat lower cushion, and I thought they were the same. Unfortunately, with the 06-11, you have to drop the tank.
