Has anyone upgraded the front speakers of their '06 HCH. Do you have to remoive the door panel to access them?

I had the front speakers replaced. It looked it involved removing the door panel so I had it done professionally. Turned out great!

 

Removing door panels is normally a very easy task, although for some reason people shy away from it. They normally involve 2 or three screws normally behind the latch and armrest and then the rest are held in by plastic snaps pins. I have done every car I own myself. I am sure somebody can comment on the Civic's door panel. If not check out a Civic enthusiast site like 8th gen civic as it normally has younger kids who's first thing to do to a new car is install a killer sound system.
