Default The emergency brake handle is killing my knee!

I'm 6'3" and my right knee hits the e-brake in a ridiculously uncomfortable way. I have tried cutting a hole in a little nerf stress ball. That was awkward and not very soft. Now I have pipe insulation on it -- it is better than nothing, but less than ideal.

The e-brake handle seems to far to the left. I'd love to just bend the sucker over to the right, but I am sane.... so far.

My mother-in-law suggested a pot-holder.

The nerf wasn't soft enough. I'm about to impale a small stuffed animal on it.

Any other ideas?

I'm 6'4", and found that if I actually have my foot situated so that it's actually up on the pedal (heel to pivot, whole foot movement to accellerate), it's actually very comfortable and feels like i'm resting my leg in something of a cradle. My seat is all the way back, and all the way down, so that may have something to do with it as well. Play with it a bit, that "sweet spot" does exist for us tall folk.

I'm only 6 foot but after any drive more than 30 minutes I have to spend a couple of minutes massaging my knee so that it will work properly.

There is very little I don't like about this car but the emergency brake location is becoming a physical danger to me.

How about a bungie cord around your right leg with both ends tied to the driver's armrest?

Default A possible solution - cross your legs?

As the left leg is doing nothing , how about using the left foot to work the accelerator and brake, and give the right leg a rest on the left side? They have to do that in Australia where of course everything is upside down and back to front!

I'm 6'3" tall too, I have no problems with the e-brake handle. I never even touch it with my legs.

I'm sitting fairly normal, I think.

I will try the whole-foot-on-the-accelerator method, but it sounds awkward and may hurt my FE!
