Disabled IMA, charges, then fries dc-dc?

Yes, after about 5 forced regen cycles, before driving it with IMA active again. Only code is the one pending deterioration code before and after driving it.

I don't have an explanation. That is very atypical behavior. On one of my personal 06 HCH, I drove with master switch disabled for about 3 months without issues. Eventually, the DC-DC quit working in the range. Replaced battery and all worked well.

Here are my tap voltages after sitting about 26hrs:
14.32
14.39
14.81
15.06
15.05
14.65
14.64
15.03
14.66
14.55
14.51
How well would this fare for a grid charge attempting to balance?
14.32
14.39
14.81
15.06
15.05
14.65
14.64
15.03
14.66
14.55
14.51

14.32 to 15.06 = 0.75dV
That's pretty bad. In my experience, it's a sign of widespread cell damage with at least 1-2 cells in each 12 cell subpack failing to retain charge.
SOMETIMES, a long soak charge with about 9-10Ah of input into the pack can correct that. It may take both a soaking charge, a discharge to 66V, and another 9-10Ah input charge.
None of it may work. You won't know until you try.
I've been perplexed by my 05 Insight... factory battery installed in 14... fan failed, ran hot without throwing codes and cooked cells. Been through a stick-level recondition effort, and it just wouldn't hold a charge. Might work for a week or two before recalibrations.
Battery sat for about a year... did a single aggressive grid charge (I have a variable current high voltage power supply) putting about 10Ah in, and the dang thing has been working flawless for a month - not a single recal. I don't expect it to last, but I'm shocked by the fact that it's worked as well as it has.
Hate these Honda packs...
