Clunk and Jerk while Braking in Reverse 2007 HCHII
I have a 2007 HCH II w 194k miles on it. I recently developed a new issue. When in reverse, if I hit the brakes at all I get a terrible clunking sound, the car jerks and shudders lime something is binding up. Since this does not happen any other time, I am suspecting that I have either lost an engine / tranny mount or I am going to be replacing my front passenger CV axle very soon. Only other thing of note iz that is sounds and feels like something large in the gerbil ball I mean engine compartment sounds like it is shifting or moving around when I hit any bumps while driving. Anyone know how many book hours either the mounts or the axels are to swap?
Thanks for everything over the years,

Turns out I had a bad brake caliper and it was locking up the rotor. Long story short I picked up a piece of road trash that got wedged in between the pad and rotor, gouged a piece out and started a chain reaction.
