09' Escape rear end "clunk" from reverse to drive

09' Escape rear end "clunk" from reverse to drive
My 09' escape hybrid has developed a "clunk" you can hear and feel when you back out in reverse then shift to drive...10 feet later a clunk. Any ideas?
Ford dealer tells me that is normal, everything is in spec etc...they see this in this model etc..bs..we have 4 escapes in our family, no clunks...
