A/C not working

Re: A/C not working
Answering my own question, there are gauges and refrigerant on Amazon, and a great video on this kit, but the can contains oil, too.

Open your hood and take a top down picture of the passenger side of the engine compartment.

I was trying to see if you have a sight glass. It was removed sometime after 06 as both my 06 had them.
The green "H" cap is on the high pressure line. Do not fill from this side (you can't connect a fill hose to it anyway) As you trace it forward, you encounter that electric plug. That's the high pressure switch. Somewhere in this area, my car had a sight glass that helps with filling. You don't have one.
I use walmart supertech:

It's pure R-134a
I use this hose:

The low pressure gauge is better than nothing.
Best to do when it's 85-95°F ambient.
Start and run car for 5 minutes with AC on max cold. Recommend AUTO mode, fresh air, lowest temp setting.
Connect hose to can.
Pull the trigger briefly to blast air out of hose and fill with R-134a
Connect to "L" valve.
Fill in 5 second bursts and allow gauge to stabilize.
Do not exceed pressure indicated by green band.
You can stop filling once you notice the air is blowing notably colder.
If you can place a in one of the center vents, a temp of about 55F° is pretty good, but that definitely varies.

S. Keith....I am beyond words with gratitude for this help and the other helpful posts you have put up here.
We are getting ready to go from 50s temps to 100 here in Oregon and, not even counting cost, I don't have time to leave the car for service!
