I couldn't agree more. I have no idea which are more popular, but the lack of interesting colors nearly turned me off the HCH. The regular Civic comes in two really nice blues and a red. Does Honda marketing assume the HCH buyers want boring colors?

no, it's their scheme to get more interest later in the hch when they release new colors

just like how they released the dark blue paint for the 05 hch

My list would be:

Nighthawk Black Pearl (oh, wait - that's on normal Civics)

Tango Red Pearl (oh, not avaiable either)

Atomic Blue Metalic (

)
Royal Blue Pearl (

)

Sigh. Why, oh why can we not have color with our mileage?

If I were buying an 06, I'd be after:
Magnetic Pearl (by far)
Galaxy Gray Metali
Taffeta White
Opal Sliver Blue Metalic
Alabaster Sliver Metalic
