It had front mud flaps because I commented about not having the rear.But it may have been the other way around? I have these 60's moments from, time to time. <grin> So it looks like it came from sth. of the boarder. Hal

I think US come with no mud flaps, and on Canadian model front flaps only are standard. I've always got rear mud flaps added, but it is mostly a cosmetic preference, and the main thing the flaps seem to accomplish (front and rear) is to trap a lot of mud.
It's good to take them off at least yearly, and hose out what's behind. With a stubby screw driver you can avoid having to remove the wheels to get them off, or even better, just a plain screwdriver bit (the shorter the better), with some hockey tape wrapped around to give it some diameter.
