With the new Civic hybrid due next year - Any news on next generation Civic Hybrid in the States as opposed to Scotland.

The 9th Generation Civic will not be released until 2011/12, probably as a 2012 model with significant power advancements likely. Attractive sketches have been posted on internet car sites starting about a month ago – maybe someone will want to google and repost here.

 

HCH-III should be an '11 model. Industry all runs now on 5-year cycle ... first three years no changes, then last two they tweak the front/rear ends, change some trim pieces, style of the taillights, etc.

 

For decades the cycle was a very consistant 4 years. Maybe it'll be 5 years, if that's the current norm, then odds are you're right. But I don't think anyone can say emphatically what is going to be coming, and when.

 

Heck, I'm still waiting to see what's new on the 2010 HCH!

LOL! And we are up packing for a day trip to Blue Ridge Parkway and Devil's Kitchen! My HCH will have more than 32,000 miles by our return this evening! Great cars!!
