A123 Service on 2006

Re: A123 Service on 2006
So anyone know if the dealers just doing a normal drain & fill for the CVT fluid or are they doing the drain-fill-drive-repeat x 3 flush as discussed in the manual? For that price I assume its just a simple drain & fill.
How are most of you DIY'ers doing it at home? I would like to do the drain-fill-drive-repeat method but right now I only have 4qts of CVT fluid so if no one else is doing it then I may not either...
Thanks

Re: A123 Service on 2006
My Car asked for a B1 - which the dealer charged $100.
I thought that was absolutely ridiculous! I am not going to do any of this work myself though, and my family won't let me go back to my old mechanic cuz they are worried he doesnt know hybrids. What i need to do is find an indy mechanic who can work on hybrids who is not going to rip me off for crap like rotating tires...
I'm in los Angeles if anybody knows a non-dealership mechanic that i can try.
BTW, this is my second oil change and first "B1".
