2009 with P0A3F
So I had an oil leak I decided to fix myself, attributing it to a rear main seal. Shortly after, I broke my leg, so the car sat for over 4 months. Pulled engine and replaced main seal and resealed oil pain. After a new 12 volt battery took it for drive and I'm getting nothing from the hybrid battery...no bars with assist or charging. Red battery light and IMA light both on. Code reader is saying P0A3F Drive motor B inverter over temperature. Any help is appreciated

Not sure about your code reader, but the service manual says P0A3F is Motor Rotor Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction.
Diagnostics for that code is 27 steps. Recommend you get a Bishko service manual from ebay.
I suspect you forgot to plug something in, damaged a connector or wire, or something like that.
With the red battery light on, you are not getting any 12V charging. Recommend you keep it charged manually.

Thanks for the info. I'm guessing this is in the IMA motor? I did pull it off with no issue when replacing the rear main seal. And it went back on with out a problem. Is there timing related to the motor? The crankshaft may have turned when doing the oil pan.
