At the time, it cost me $42 to get 5 invoice quotes. Well worth it if you ask me.

<<EDIT>>
I just checked the latest invoice prices for the 2007 HCH's - since I had 2 more quotes to redeem - and I can tell you that the difference between the MSRP and invoice has increased beyond what I quoted. Aparently Honda has increased the margin of profit for Canadian dealers since the model's introduction in 2006. Maybe to help them push more HCH's.
That appears to be good news, since it also gives 2007 canadian buyers more negotiation room.

I just bought mine in Victoria BC for $30,165 including skirts all around, rear cupholders, auto-dim mirror/compass, locking wheel nuts. The base price was $27,616 with rear splash guards installed.

That sounds like a real sweet deal rwslemko.
I signed the papers today for mine ... Paid C$26550 plus taxes (14%). Only option i decided to get was the Block heater. so MSRP would have been C$27756.23. So I guess I saved about $1200.
Now I gotta change my name away from "procrastinator".

Near Montreal, province of Quebec, I bought my 2007 HCH 27,350$, just after the provincial tax rebat pass from 1,000$ to 2,000$
but just before Harper gave the federal tax rebate of 2,000$
.
Anyways, I am very happy with this car. I have an average of 5.5/100km with my second tank for the moment. YES !!!![Smile](https://electricvehicleforums.com/forums/images/smilies/emotikons/smile.gif)

Similarly, I bought an end of model year 2006 HCH 2 in Toronto. The dealer was offering $2000 off, (it was priced at $25900) plus I got an additional $2000 from the Ontario gov't. So it was just $21900 before the taxes and stuff.
It was this pricing that persuaded me to take the plunge!

bmcmullin ... the 2006 HCH has been added to the list of vehicles eligible for the $2000 federal rebate (check out tc.gc.ca). SO you can expect some more cash ![Smile](https://electricvehicleforums.com/forums/images/smilies/emotikons/smile.gif)
46jimbo ... if you bought after March 20th this yr ... u'd be in luck too.
