2007 Civic Hybrid CVT Fluid Change Flush DIY Very Easy Applies to 2006-2011
The drain plug is super obvious, but you can't fully drain it. You can drain what's in the pan, but it's only a little over half the CVT fluid. Three 3 qt changes a week apart gets about 90% of the old fluid out.

Ok thanks! Right now the car is juddering between 10-20kph, and sometimes vibrating when stationary - wierdly it stops after a bit of driving though (earlier also after turning the ac off and on - might have been a coincidence though). I figured it’s probably the transmission needing a flush. My wife is skeptical I can do it myself (I don’t have much car/mechanical experience) but the dealership wants over $160 just to do a single flush and I’m not sure that will be enough and I don’t want to pay that x4 to solve it.
You can do it. Just don't over-tighten the plug and strip it out.
What you describe also sounds like engine mounts. At your mileage, both are likely issues.
If the vibrations at idle are worse at lower rpm like when you're using A/C, there's a very good chance you need to replace both upper mounts. That job has been described here, and it's far more challenging.

Good news is the car is shifting better and driving much smoother after replacing the transmission fluid - the old fluid was quite dirty but not black, so I think I'm ok without triple-flushing it. I will be sticking to your advised every-other-oil-change schedule.

I got lucky with one off eBay. They are NOT the same as the regular civic. I got another off rock auto.

Thanks for the pointers on where to get a replacement part as well, will see what I can find. I have the official part number 50850-SNC-A91 which as you mention is specific to this hybrid model.
