IF disable Hybrid battery with Breaker, will it still throw CEL for bad battery?
I just found out that my licence drivers test won't be allowed if i have a CEL.
the CEL is the standard P1600 and P1449 sub code 78.
I plan to refurb the battery, but not before the drivers road test.
if i flip off the battery by the breaker and reset the CEL, will that keep it off?

No. Just flipping off the battery will also disable 12V charging and cause multiple other errors resulting in IMA light and CEL. The car will die as soon as the 12V is depleted.

guess i will buy a grid charger/discharger
already read the battle chattter between HA and MAXX. Maxx never answered the concern about burning out the fan controller?
i can usually go about 2 days before the CEL comes back on. i'll risk it for the test.
