Great news! Somehow I got the new rock auto shipment in about 36 hours. DHL does not mess around their tracking info said shipped July 2th and deliver by July 6th but it was delivered today July 3rd WOW!!!

so installed the 2 new coil packs , 8 plugs. And took it for a drive. She runs amazing way more power and best of all no codes beside for the PO420 which doesn’t give off Turn on the dash light so I can live with that.

next week I’ll go get plates and tabs on it so I can drive it to work and etc to make sure it’s good to go. Still on the hunt for some good used tires as these are balder than my drag slicks on my 68 ford maverick race car,

Glad to hear it was just typical high mileage stuff. Note sure what you're saying about the dash light. Are you saying the P0420 doesn't turn on the CEL? If that's the case, it's likely a pending code, and it will likely trip the CEL at some point. If you have emissions in your area, likely you can't pass with that active or pending. Again, probably worth drying the 1 gallon of acetone trick.

 

Your right! It was pending the cel came on a few mins ago as I was driving it around with the kids, no emission here but I’ll try the acetone trick one of these days cause I rather not look at a cel on the dash
