dumb question, but what does the dioid do. is there some kinda fly back voltage that kills the charger?

It's not a charger. It's a power supply. It's designed to provide voltage and current to a long string of LED lights It's not designed to be attached to a 300V+ voltage source.

The diode prevents the battery from discharging into the power supply.

What's the purpose of the apc combined with the lpc? Can you charge with just the lpc?

No. Insufficient voltage. It's only 286V. Battery is dead empty at a resting nominal voltage of 288V.

The APC in series adds another 100V to ensure you can actually charge.

Ok maybe that's my problem, the Tahoe I got was at 269V based on advice I got from another person I was using just the lpc and that brought the voltage up but the system says the battery is still at 60% state of charge and won't turn the engine over. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a Snap-On Ethos Pro?

That's showing a calculated voltage of 338V, which is almost unbelievable.

What are the 20 block voltages?
