The connector's upper row has 4 pins - the pin that seems to do the trick is third from the left, 2nd from the right. As far as I can tell, it is just a power pin.

I don't know if I even posted pictures of the blendmounts which attach both the scangauge and the valentine1 to the rear view mirror. Just in case I haven't posted - here they are.

I wanted a blend mount but the arrows still shows hence I added a concealed display in the dash/steering and hid the V1 near the sunvisors.
