OR you will need to Test each battery module to find the broken one much better then shipping 40 batteries
as one or two of the modules are hitting the 1.5 volt threshold value

There was a Secret Recall
it mentions the battery and reprograming the module as well as other modules
it does not specify if it's the High voltage battery though.. the only way to know is to run the vin at the dealer and see if they were done

It's a 2008
The GM scan tool can read the Twenty voltmeters inside the pack. Most likely the P0BBD is one of those 40 modules sagging under load for the three seconds it takes for that code to set.
May have figured it out. Wish I could get a nice log off of tourqe of this as I seen on another post, but it looks like I have 1 cell block that is drifting periodically. It isnt always different but it comes and goes quite often.
So how are the cell blocks laid out, which end starts the pack?

Keith, can he remove the pair and perform some sort of "light load" test like running an old school headlamp to see which one of the pair is weak?

A high wattage auto bulb will do. I prefer one of these:

Will hit a module with about 60A. Best to use a separate attached voltmeter for the start/end currents. Record current, hit with tester for 10 seconds, record loaded voltage, terminate load.
A module performing like the one in the graph will stick out like a thumb on fire.
In addition to the utility of this exercise, you now have a 12V load tester, so you'll always know if your 12V is/are good.
