Reprogram Powertrain Control Mod
So I pulled the hybrid bateries out and did the full charge/discharge procedure, but didn't take them apart and sync them in paralel for 2 days. Now I am getting a code POBBD telling me battery pack voltage variation exceedid limit. I assume the I will need to pull the batteries out and sync them in paralel? Or do I need to reprogram the PCM? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly, you may be right. No cells are coming up bad, and the engine light is off for now. Will probably switch out for Lithium from NexPower,

when you were finished with the reconditioning process, in what state were the modules?

Re: Reprogram Powertrain Control Mod
I'm getting 15.7 volts with all cells, and nothing showing up bad, but am realizing they are low capa.

Re: Reprogram Powertrain Control Mod
You used a toy charger incapable of providing any meaningful testing. FWIW, with Ch1 and Ch2 discharge power limited to 10W and Ch3/Ch4 limited to 5W, that charger is completely worthless. At 10W, you're only going to get 1.4A nominally, and at 5W, you're going to get 0.7A nominally, and unless you're testing all 4 channels to 5W, you're not being consistent. Testing at ~1A isn't going to tell you how a module will perform when subjected to as much as 220A (another reason why these cars kill their batteries - should be limited to about 150A).
