That, also, is definitely on the high side compared to what just about everyone else is able to obtain but specifically, the 31 MPG city is just unbelievable unless you are actually playing the game of keeping speed under 30 MPH for extended periods of time and staying in electric longer than most anyone could do without pissing off everyone behind you.

I don't follow the forum regularly so maybe you have a highly modified 'hoe that I'm not familiar with but those numbers just aren't realistic and representative of what anyone else has obtained (and I don't just mean for a short stint but over a full tank of gas...)

Do tell...

good ole country road i have been taking ...it's 55mph limit.(lots an lots of turns that are 35mph rated so a steady 40-45 mph is fine so you never have to use the brakes for like 30 miles

40mph to 45mph is the butter zone it will shift into super Overdrive 5th gear at 40mph-45mph if you keep the steady speed)..... going 40-45Mph (no rush very little traffic)

basically the RPM drops to 1,000-1050rpm

on fuelly i averaged 23MPG tell the summer rolled around and this covid crap(traffic lights have been adjusted) basically you hit every freaken red light what a pain ( also the left turns automatically come on as well I guess so the Ghost cars can turn)

once it drops below 90F the engine turns off at a stop light like it should (idling wastes a ton of gas when it's in drive for some reason.?)
also my engine was revving up if I had the A/C on I turned it to 74F from 60F this suggest the battery might be on it's last legs it just needs to last me to smog test so i can save up some money tell the next smog test I'm going to get a green bean battery

i have been saving 100 a month on it so i should have enough when the next test rolls around..

lately i have been just driving the Corolla... i thought about extracting the powertrain and putting a 4.8L L20 engine in with a 6 or 8 speed tras as the L20 supports flexfuel(it's only like 2.50 a gallon)
