ok here is one for the black tahoe/yukon owners
Hi there.. go here.. www.jetblackcar.com ... ALL black cars .. He uses image 10 products
If you WANT swirls, that's what I would recommend.
If you want it swirl free, than you have to hand wash, with lots of water, soap, and a soft sponge. You have to dry it with 100% high quality cotton towels. You have to use some care when washing it.
I have a 10 year old Corvette, with virtually no swirl marks. I use Zaino Bros. polishes exclusively. The first time through is a lot of work, but the results are amazing. I just put a coat of polish on every few months after that, along with the gloss enhancer. The shine is fantastic.
Also, keep the car garaged when not in use. That's a must for long term finish quality.

I've just claybarred, and polished with Zaino.
Oh My God!!!!
I never thought I could get such a smooth paint finish.
Like other correspondents, its a lot of work, but hope the next time will be quicker and easier.
I don't have a garage for my truck, and when I am not using it, it sits under a sunshade.
But that doesn't stop the dust.
What's your best tip on getting the dust off, and not ruining the wonderful finish?
Thanks for your imput.

California Car Duster. Kind of a string mop with a oily substance on it that sucks the dust off. For my Aston, I just keep it in the trunk and wipe it down (takes only a minute) to get the layer of dust off.

Jet, Zaino works great follow the instructions to a tee and you will receive a piano jet black finish its almost a day job. The product really stood the test of time here in Canada during the Winter. I ordered the full kit including the excelerator and touch up polish, also there leather cleaner is excellent. Order there cloth rags as they are the best.
