FYI -

"In a quote to Automotive News, Luke said the large SUVs could soon be receiving eight and possibly even 10-speed transmissions, as well as other powertrain variations, such as a hybrid version, and possibly even a diesel engine option."

That is an interesting, and hopeful, snippet. Good find!

well I better hope they still come out with the hybrid version. I have the escalade hybrid and compared to my 2013 range rover, I fill up every two weeks while the range is twice a week. same thing with the loaner escalade I get from the dealer. A quarter gas used in one day of errands. keep the current hybrid please. if it isn't effective why is range rover adapting it overseas? the bmw x6 has it, etc.
