Nav System software update

Re: Nav System software update
Mine was updated by the previous owner and has worked ok so far. It's a little sketchy at times and makes a lot of noise after you turn the car off. But it still has features that others don't have. I've found the 2011 DVD works best in my 08'.
I actually use three GPS's when I drive long distances. That's right THREE. Because no one ever seems to have everything I want. I use WAZE on my iPhone to route around traffic and keep a watch out on the 5-0. I prefer the larger screen of the Tahoe's built in Nav for showing turns, alerts etc. And while the graphics look outdated I somewhat prefer the layout and the detail given when turns occur. The built in is also reliable in areas where I don't have cell coverage. Lastly I use my garmin GPS which shows elevation and most importantly the real time speed limit of the road I am on juxtaposed next to my current speed, which turns red when you go over the limit.
