Yes, my thoughts exactly except that if you are forced to sue for warranty coverage, then, as plaintiff, the burden of proof is on you to prove that the problem was not aftermarket changes related - since you can bet GM will plead that in their Statement of Defence. The plaintiff always has the burden of proof in our justice system. They also have all the experts on their side considering they built the vehicle.

I really like the idea of the volant intake system, and the increase in mpg seems too good to be true, but I am going to wait until at least the 3 years bumper to bumper is gone before making any changes (except for that lockpic - couldn't live without it and if there are problems, it's coming out before the vehicle goes in for service!).

Default good idea...

they have specifically mentioned the locpic in some TSB's and you would def. lose on that one....and with the volant system I saw an IMMEDIATE 4 MPG increase over stock. I'm still on my test tank and all the driving was in town so I can't imagine being anti-volant at this point. The only down side is if you hit the throttle it has a louder intake noise than stock but no big deal.

First Class Jet 4MPG just in the air intake system. Understand about warranty.
