hummm...maybe ill take the volant intake off
jet1: The burden of proof is on them but I kind of like to avoid conflict and hassle on any level cause life is too short to deal with that stuff!
I really like the idea of the volant intake system, and the increase in mpg seems too good to be true, but I am going to wait until at least the 3 years bumper to bumper is gone before making any changes (except for that lockpic - couldn't live without it and if there are problems, it's coming out before the vehicle goes in for service!).
they have specifically mentioned the locpic in some TSB's and you would def. lose on that one....and with the volant system I saw an IMMEDIATE 4 MPG increase over stock. I'm still on my test tank and all the driving was in town so I can't imagine being anti-volant at this point. The only down side is if you hit the throttle it has a louder intake noise than stock but no big deal.
