Default greetings from a new member...

I just tonight (1/29/09) got a brand new YUKON HYBRID. This will be my first experience with this type of technology and after doing a ton of research the 2 mode hybrid made the most sense for the type of driving I do. I traded in my 1998 jeep grand Cherokee 5.9 which I loved but the 11.5 mpg it averaged regardless of how I drove it was wearing on me....time to be responsible (guess i'm getting old!) anyway I hope to glean a lot of knowledge here and hope this forum isn't filled with kids wanting to "mod" their cars for better performance etc. I am going to document every mile on line with a blog just for fun as I'm an IT guy and it will be fun to see what I can make of this new car.

Is "modding" for better performance a bad thing? I'm 41 and I would mod mine if I could get more mileage. Anyway, welcome! ;-)

Welcome.

There are plenty of us here that aren't modding our 2-modes and love our trucks.
