closing in on 50k miles
what check ups would you recommend? im closing in on 50k miles and i certain warranties end at 50k, so i want to habve them checked. does gm recommend any in particular?

what? 50k miles and no issues? amazing. it is hard to say, just bring it to the dealer and have them check for any firmware update, tsb's that need to be done. if it is good at 50k miles, it will be good for 100k miles more. btw, welcome.

personally I would..
take it in and have ALL the fluids changed out inc brake fluid and power steering fluid and all driveline and antifreeze fluids. its cheap insurance. I change all my fluids every 2 years in every car I own and have never had any problems with any of them. The only real mechanical issue I can even think of in the last 10+ years is I had to replace one exhaust manifold on my 92 corvette zr1 as it had warped slightly.

At this point I would just have them go through all the major components for a few hundred dollars anything they find will be covered under warranty and it will give you piece of mind.
