I'm out of the loop now, Guss, but there was an announcement last fall on various sites, including a thread here. Things are pretty good.

have 110k on my extremely trouble free 2009 escalade hybrid! beats anything in reliability as well as mileage hands down. never used the 8 year/100k mile hybrid warranty.

Plus, you have the 3.42 rear end, which was only on the '09 Caddies.
