Default 2009 Chevy Tahoe hybrid issue

Yesterday on my wife’s way home her check engine light started blinking. About 1/2 mile from home, she drives home and her car starts shaking.

It’s throwing two codes p0521 and p0307.

Yesterday it had oil, today it seems to be low on oil. I have replaced the spark plugs (all of them) replaced the coil pack for plug #7. It continues to still make these noises, tomorrow I plan to replace the spark plug wire for #7 and add more oil.

we replaced the lifter, tick is gone, now we are having two issues, it says “low oil pressure” and when we start it white smoke comes from the tail pipe. Any idea?

White smoke is coolant. Head gasket leak.

Blue smoke is oil. Rings or valve guide seals.

Black smoke = incomplete combustion. Fuel mixture issues.

Condensation is normal
it's part of the combustion process

at lest a cup of water pours out of the rear muffler every time I fill up the gas...
**** everywhere no consumption of the coolant...

Do a consumption test mark it with a marker if it stays the same your good.

OR you got screwed with watered down gas (water in the ethanol )

Yes scam stations figured out the perfect ratio of gas to water mix to scam you out of money
or have a lot of water mixed in your gas tank

this is a good explanation of what Condensation is.

Did you find out why you had white smoke? Mine did the same thing which was a cloud of white smoke. wasn't a coolant leak.

i all ready explained where it comes from the two HUGE mufflers can hold a lot of condensation (WATER) and when its cold out you see white smoke, aka water vapor condensing in the cold air

only something to worry about if your losing coolant ...

Just check it frequently to make sure you not losing any

it's just like when you can see your breath in the winter time
