09 Tahoe Problem

Re: 09 Tahoe Problem
Out of curiosity would a bad hybrid battery cause the transmission to not go into gear? Would disconnecting the hybrid battery then allow it to go into gear off ICE to show that the battery is the problem?

The only gears i can get even with manual is neutral and park. any other way to troubleshoot to see if its not the transmission? Codes arent saying anything transmission related and the problems came on suddenly with no warning. I had first gear for about an hour then after it sat i had nothing and engine rev problems.

Probably should continue this here... What harnesses are you talking about on the other thread? Locations would be awesome. I looked underneath the truck while i had it in the air but didn't see 2, only the one, unplugged it and replugged it and it didn't help. Are you talking up top from the battery?
Did a quick vid on the problems with the codes on screen and talked about it a bit:
The volume sucks but its easier than typing it all out.

If you can sometimes get the engine to run, is the battery charging during this time? Check the radio for the screen that shows the hybrid status.
Another thing to check is the Aux Transmission Fluid Pump. Can you hear/feel it running while the engine is in Auto-Stop mode? It is the small motor between engine and transmission, just in front of the transmission oil pan. If not, troubleshoot the wiring up to the Aux Fluid Pump control module.
