Re: Mini e
They tell me the max range is 150 miles but to expect a useable range of 120. The max speed is 95mph but you will burn through your charge real quickly if you stay out on the highway. I'll tell more when I take delivery in April.

Re: Mini e
I understand we are all getting them around April, so other then some press rides there is not a lot of real word info out there. I trust BMW/MINI has them pretty well sorted. I'm looking forward to my year long electric test drive.

Re: Mini e
I'm tentatively on the list to get a Mini E, depending on the credit check and home inspection for the charging box. I just completed my financial app last Saturday at the dealership. I was told the cars will trickle in beginning as early as the end of February, with the last delivery by June.
Has anyone had the charging box installed yet, or even the inspection?
Since this is my first post, I'll see if I can post a picture of a Mini E:

Re: Mini e
Lease is $850/month for 12 months. Mini provides collision insurance. It is very expensive but there is an electric vehicle tax credit for 2009 that should offset a lot of the cost.
edit - the tax credit is $7500
