Default Am I reading the DB right?

Not sure if I'm reading the DB right on the site. Is the Toyota Highlander Hybrid 4WD eCVT the top performer right now as far as mileage goes?

Thanks,
JD

Currently the Highlander Hybrid 4wd is at 25MPG, tied with the Lexus 400h for the WORST mileage (although pretty good mileage for an SUV in my opinion). The top performer is the Insight 2wd manual transmission at 63mpg.

Understandable. Americans keep track of Car Performance (MPG), high numbers good, low numbers bad. Electric Mode = Infinity mileage.

The rest of us look at Fuel Consumption (L/100km or DIN). Low number good, high number bad. Electric Mode = zero gas used

I've tried both and prefer the Fuel Consumption. In Canada is specially easy right now with the Litre of gas costing $1.

Hi

i agree that the highlander would not be too many peoples choice for top MPG. However, in my BIASED opinion, you can still have your kick 'azz' 268 horsepowers, and get 25mpg real world . If you still want a full sized SUV, there is no comparision. Highlander rules. (i am fairly biased though)

the FEH though is a great comprimise between say a Pruis / HCH and a Highlander. You get a peppy suv -but over 30mpg real world. Theres lots of options avail........
