Nope. Sorry, I've got to save it up to offset my minivan. The mileage for the minivan is the high teens, low 20s. Filled it up the minivan the other day with 17.5 gallons and it cost ~$41.00. Ouch!

OK I got my first 700 mile tank (woo hoo, go Shorty, gonna party like it's my birfday! ) which means I am AT LEAST at 53.4 for this tank, so it's one of my best tanks ever. I'm at 703.2 and I will drive straight to Sam's Club for refueling this afternoon. My TRIP B lifetime average on the FCD is now at a whopping 43.9 after 10,860 miles of driving, after being only 34.4 MPG lifetime when I bought the car used. LOVE MY HCH !!!

Way to go, lars-ss.

Did you have to use that container of fuel in your back seat ? ;-)

LOL !!

Well, my grandmother taught us to light a match to clear up the odor in the bathroom after use. That might do the trick .. just make sure you are way out in the desert, all alone. Don't want neighbors joining in.

With my quick calculations I bet your FCD is low! It will be great to hear what your calculated MPG is. With your message as encouragement I might shoot for 700 on this tank!

Ahh indeed.

Don't know if I can keep it up (one rain will kill the tank) but thanks to the warmer weather I've got a record tank going. After about 150 miles the game gauge is showing around 68 mpg which is great for an HCH. Gotta love those warmer temps!

Summer is going to be a challenge because I LOVE airconditioning. Chances are when it gets really hot you will see a dip in IMLC's mileage because of airconditioning use. I might tuff it out for a couple of weeks with no air just to set a record tank. It may be possible to get in the low seventies.

I must have been on FUMES when I pulled into Sam's Club, because I pumped 13.2 gallons !! I know there is talk and such that tank capacities are not exact, so in my case it must be true also that my tank is a little larger than 13.2 gallons. Got 710.1 miles which calced to 53.795 with 13.2 gallons, while FCD showed 54.8. My last six tanks have averaged 52.4, so I think I've got a handle on my driving techniques. Considering a short commute, I'm pretty pleased with that. Maybe in a few months 700 mile tanks will be no big deal to me, but today with gas prices $2.329 it is !!!
