Default Windshield molding question

I have an 2009 FEH with 13,000 miles. I was at the gas station cleaning my windshield and noticed a slight gap (1/16" of an inch) where the black molding has lifted away in the center of the windshield underneath the wiper blades for a length of about 2 inches. Has any else noticed this on their FEH?

I plan to take it to the dealer, but he is 60 miles away and I don't want to go until I have other reasons to head in that direction. Is this something that sounds like it should addressed soon or can it wait?

You can wait as that molding is decorative. The windshield is completely sealed to the body with the adhesive that was used to install it.
