Default What size of Torx wrench is needed for front seats ?

Anyone know what size of Torx wrench is needed to loosen the front passenger seat bolts in a 2008 FEH ? I have the shop manuals, but don't yet find this in there.......

I'm guessing it's either a T55 or T60, but would like to know for sure before I go purchase a suitable impact driver.

Thanks in advance....Gary

Hi Gary

I just had my carpet replaced in my '09 and the service guy said he had to remove the seats. Be aware that he told me he had to reprogram the front seat sensors after he put them back in. Just wanted to give you a heads-up so you can check into it and be prepared. Sorry, I'm rushing around this weekend and don't have time to check on the size wrench right now.

Hmmm...strange. Actually, I only need to loosen the bolt closest to the console so that I can slip a gooseneck mount for my add-on satellite radio under the head of the bolt. I will check on the seat sensors in the manual, though...thanks *very* much for that tip.

T55

I just checked on my '08 FEH and a T50 was way too small and a T60 was too big. T55 fit but was a bit sloppy. Could be that my T55 bit is a bit warn.

Yep. T55 it is. NAPA has a nice 9-piece set of Torx impact drivers for $25. The T55 should work great. Thanks, everyone !
