Hello folks,

In the process of swapping motors as my current one developed a rod knock due to back pressure from a clogged catalytic converter.

Had a buddy help me with a repair some months ago and he mentioned that he thinks the transmission area maybe leaking.

The area near the transmission and transaxle does appear somewhat "wet" but I can't tell if the area is actually leaking or its just that its oily and dirty. I did drain the transmission fluid and got out approximately 5/6 quarts of transmission fluid prior to taking the unit out of the vehicle.

If anyone can give some insight, it would be greatly appreciated.
