Default throwing codes

new codes

P0A0A - HIGH VOLTAGE INTERLOCK
P1000 - OBD - (STANDARD CODE)
C1254 - ABS PEDAL TRAVEL CALIBRATION INCOMPLETE

they are stored codes, no lights on the dash - whats the deal?

- throwing codes :

p0a0a
p1a14
p1000

had no codes before engine mount change - checked all fuses , everything ok - swapped around some relays, no luck

SOLVED - reset pcm (ecu) and reset the fuel button ( by the pass kick panel ), one or both of those in succession resets the rear motion switch (its red and moved up) - depress it

You may want to research whether you have an emerging issue, especially with the PCM. Sometimes a reset on a car is all you need and it doesn't reoccur. More often, something is happening that the vehicle doesn't like. Let us know if it reoccurs.

We had the following codes . Your codes
P0AFA-16-28 Hybrid Battery System Voltage below Threshold

P0562-00-28 System voltage low,
P2806-FF PCM Transmission Range Sensor (maybe set when we pushed the truck into the garage?)
P1000-00-28 set probably due to the fact the engine has not gone through OBDII emission tests due to no sta

Looking up one of your codes on the internet:

P1A14 FORD Possible Causes

  • Faulty Hybrid Powertrain Control Module
  • Hybrid Powertrain Control Module harness is open or shorted
  • Hybrid Powertrain Control Module circuit poor electrical connection
You might have a one off situation so you may be able to wait and see. If your 12volt battery is over three years old, I would suggest replacing it first with a new one. I prefer the actual Ford battery. It your problem reoccurs in short order, you definitely have a real problem that needs to be addressed.

OK. If I was in the situation, I would wait and see if it reoccurs. Why did you put the transmission in neutral? It shouldn't matter but I never do that with an automatic. It's either drive or park.If it reoccurs within a few months, you definitely have some issue that you have to follow up with. You now have time for research and to line up one or two Ford Escape Hybrid specialists if needed. unless you want to take it in now as a precaution. A Ford dealer might charge an hour or two for a hybrid checkover.

not sure if its related, but the nav/radio display is very vague and I have to whack it couple times for it to come back to full visibility... It seems like i have a ground issue that causing all these problems

Yes. Those cables can look fine but be internally corroded.
