Test Drove 2 FEHs

Re: Test Drove 2 FEHs
If you can afford the air fare from WA, you can get a brand new 2008 FEH $3000-4000 under MSRP in California. Rebates apply. There's a lot of stock. Buying a used 2006 for more than a brand new 2008 is unreasonable if money is a concern. You should be able to buy a base FWD for $24k.
We ended up buying a used 06 instead.

There is a $2000 rebate on the ICE Escape, not the Hybrid.
Only an idiot car company would put rebates on a hybrid with gas prices as high as they presently are.

As others have noted, ordering a vehicle now will get you a 2009 - which is a good thing. If you really want a 2008, I discovered that Witt Lincoln Mercury in San Diego has more than a dozen MMH in stock, which you can search via their online inventory.
