Default Replacing rear wiper blade

I have a 2008 FEH. I was able to easily replace the front wiper blades, but the rear wiper blade has me stumped. I cannot figure our how to remove it from the wiper arm. The arm only lifts off the glass a few inches so there is not enough room to rotate the blade, like you can with the front blades. Any suggestions?

Default Re: Replacing rear wiper blade

The rear wiper on mine (FEH 2006) is a shepard's crook. You simply pinch the partly exposed flat piece at the inside of the crook and slide the blade towards the wiper-pivot point. It's not esp. intuitive but it works and is easy once you "get it". I put on an 11" blade (overall measure) with some good success at clearing more of the window. It's not perfect -- it partly rides up and off the window at some points but it's an improvement.

Will someone please explain to me why windshield wiper engineers can't design a simple to understand and easy to do, wiper blade exchange?
