Default Re: Remote Starter

Dittos to the previous poster. Mine gets cabin heat in about 30 seconds, and I've had as low as -15'F in winter.

Idle in the driveway is bad for the engine, as well as a waste of gas.

I was told for SURE in the 2005 and 2006 Escape Hybrids, that a remote starter was not only a bad idea, but impossible due to more complicated electronics in this vehicle.

I have no data about the 2007 but would be highly surprised if any dealer would do it. There's always a "hack" if you are a gear-head and want it bad enough... but I think you'd better ask for other "freebies".
