Rear A/c problem, hot battery.
My FEH 2006 has rear a/c problem and doesn't cool down battery. I thought that problem with belnd door. But when I turned off front a/c, rear a/c works well and cooled down battery. I has 3 options to fix
1. Change Compressor because of luck of pressure.
2. Change expantion valve.
3. Chnge a/c and heater switch.
Which one should i do first to solve issue?
Last night I removed blend door motor, inside panel driver back side and Hose. I also kept belnd doors open. Battery cooled by air form cabin now. It works but i have service light and message. anyone has idea how to convert cooling system from A?C based to Cabin air based?

Re: Rear A/c problem, hot battery.
good question since that is how the new ones do it.
I suppose the only issue is the sevice light.
maybe if instead of removing the blend door motor
you were to leave it plugged in.
or can you remove the door flap only?

Re: Rear A/c problem, hot battery.
Glad to hear it worked. Now I'd be interested to know how the battery temps do compared to having the rear a/c system fully functional.
Also reading your origonal post I wonder if you're low on refidgerant.
Possibly a small leak. Iguess you'll know if the front a/c quits over time.
If you have a scangage can you post the HV bat temps?
If nothing else this makes a good temp fix.
