that is good! Wife took the Mariner to Church the other night instead of her 4cyl 4x4 2012 Escape, my mpg average took a 2 mpg hit (30 mile round trip, 50/50 highway/city)...

please tell me yours is a FWD, not an 4WD? If you're getting that kind of fuel mileage from a 4WD, I'm doing something seriously wrong...

 

Yes, it is FWD. Luckily, I do not need 4wd in my urban environment.

 

yeah, very rural where we are. between that and my 75 mile work commute, the 4x4 is handy in rough weather... I'm averaging around 31 mpg, which to me is head and shoulders above our 4cyl ICE Escape 4x4, which averages around 24...
