Default no light on my motorcraft battery

i have a 08 FEH. i bought used i still have 2 weeks left of the dealers bumper-bumper warranty. well looking at the 12v battery i see no color indicator in the eye. is this normal? can i do a standard voltage/load test on these to see if they are ok? the dealers 45min away id hate to drive out there to tell me my battery is ok.

No color in the eye means that the electrolyte level is too low to show something. This is not good.

I think bill is correct but I also think the battery is covered by a seperate warranty, as well as the tires. Most likely a prorated deal.
