Click the "Vehicle Locator By Ford Employees" at the top of that page to browse the posts Antonio was talking about.

DORA = An order acknowledgment form the dealer can print out. It lists the options you've selected (so you should review it carefully) and lets you know the order is officially in the system.

 

Finally, we received our VIN#, now to see how long we are going to wait from now. Nice Friday gift!

I gave up- maybe my next car....

I couldn't find a dealer wanting to be helpfull and give me anykind of assistance movingthings along. And for tax reasons i NEED to have a new vehicle by year end. And I am a bit picky about what options it has. No one in the area has anything in stock even close- most dont have anything at all.

So in the end Ford lost a customer for having such tight demand.

I took delivery on 9/11 from the dealer. So I would say you are getting close, maybe take delivery late this month?

I am on week 8 waiting for my new MMH and no update from the dealer, that is now saying there are further delays (14-16 weeks wait). So I thought I look on autotrader to see how things are with new mercury's and i found one listed in a nearby town. Called them was told it was available with the options I wanted, so I bought it the same day.Order is still placed with original dealer let me know if you are in Texas and want a MMH

AND, the dealer emailed and let me know that my vehicle will be at the dealership before the end of the month. LOL ---> he has no clue I check on blue oval forums!

 

No progress / VIN / other information on my order placed 8/31 for a FEH in Houston TX.

Anybody have any good news on production? Seems like backlog is climbing, not dropping the last few months.
