Default Lowering Springs

Has anyone lowered their FEH to improve fuel economy. I mostly commute freeway 70 miles round trip a day at 55 in cruise. Lowering your vehicle may improve aerodynamics so just wondered if anyone has tried it. The springs are less then $300 dollars for a 1.6 inch drop all around.
